Top 5 Food and Drink iOS Apps in the US: Q3 2024 Performance

During the third quarter of 2024, the top five food and drink applications on the iOS platform in the United States exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides an insightful overview of these trends.

McDonald's saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 331K in early July and peaking at 426K by mid-September. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 7.1M and reaching a high of 8M in mid-September before settling at 7.1M by the end of the quarter.

DoorDash - Food Delivery maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, beginning with approximately 245K downloads and closing with around 267K at the end of September. The weekly active users started at 13M, saw a little dip mid-quarter, but bounced back to 13.6M towards the end of the period.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery experienced a steady weekly download rate, beginning at 180K and ending slightly lower at 149K. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, hovering around 9.3M, with a slight peak in late September.

Crumbl recorded notable spikes in downloads, with a significant jump to 347K in late September. The weekly active users also increased, starting at 1.4M and reaching 1.8M by the end of the quarter.

Taco Bell Fast Food & Delivery showed an impressive rise in downloads, particularly towards the end of the quarter, climbing to 283K. Correspondingly, the app's weekly active users increased from 873K to over 1M, peaking at 1.1M by the end of September.
